Aren’t Helicopters Hard To Fly?
This is a common misconception, but it is no longer true today. Helicopters can be just as easy to fly as multirotors. The addition of drone flight control computers means that they are easy to fly, with the same features of self-stabilization, GPS guidance, automatic RTL, and even Waypoint capability. In some ways, helicopters are actually easier to fly than multirotors, as they are more stable in wind and at high speed. And any VTOL is easier to take-off and land than a conventional airplane, because the operator does not need to plan for often complicated take-off procedures and landing zones.
